Our research focuses on the mechanics and dynamics of soft solid structures and materials. We will bring together fundamental concepts from continuum mechanics, dynamics, material science, and biology and employ a combination of theoretical, computational, and experimental approaches to address research challenges in two areas:
(i) Mechanics and Dynamics of Soft Biological Structures
(ii) Mechanics and Dynamics of Soft Active Materials
