Purpose

What does this study focus on?

Cannabis is the most commonly used substance during pregnancy, yet little is known about why women use cannabis use during pregnancy.

What is the goal of this study?

The goal of this study is to talk and listen to Latinx women who are using or have used cannabis during pregnancy to better understand:

1) Their motivations for using cannabis during pregnancy

2) Their use patterns during pregnancy

Why are we conducting this study?

We are conducting this study in order to:

1) Understand the barriers to receiving care facing Latinx women who use cannabis during pregnancy

2) Identify opportunities to improve public health and medical knowledge around maternal cannabis use

 

Vaping Nicotine and Cannabis Across Adolescence and Early Adulthood, Supplement Study

Purpose

What does this study focus on?

The experience of females who use cannabis and nicotine is limited, despite the unique consequences these substances pose for them.

What is the goal of this study?

The goal of this study is to talk and listen to women aged 20-24 who have used cannabis and nicotine products to examine:

1) Their motivations, expectancies, and exposures that drive them to use these products

2) Their use patterns at a more refined level

Why are we conducting this study?

We are conducting this study in order to:

1) Understand how and why females use cannabis and nicotine products

2) Identify opportunities to improve public health and medical knowledge around cannabis and nicotine use
