Dawei Song will present our recent results that describe our efforts to compute mechanical heterogeneity of breast tumors using ultrasound-based quasi-static elastography at the AIUM conference (https://www.eventscribe.com/2019/AIUM/agenda.asp?day=4/9/2019&theday=Tuesday&h=Tuesday%20%20April%209&BCFO=P|G) . We have found that the heterogeneity score is strongly influenced by numerical parameters such as the regularization parameter, and the region over which it is computed.
