- 10/14/10 – Paper availability: A couple of hard-to-get papers are linked to the class page. Most journal papers are available on the web at the journals’ sites. You will need to be in a USC machine (or follow the other approaches listed on the course syllabus) to access most of these, otherwise, the journals require that you pay for the downloads. I have asked the Seaver Science library to put all the books in the reference list on reserve on 2 or 3 hours loan. Please do not “get smart” and somehow take the books out of the library for your own convenience and create a major problem for everybody else in the course. I consider that unacceptable behavior and will treat it as such.
- 10/14/10 – Welcome! The first class is on Monday, January 10, at 2:00 pm in KAP 137 — note change of time and room from the earlier version of the schedule. The “course organization” page has been updated only in part for the Spring 2011 version of the course.
