Students who are pregnant and planning prenatal visits, childbirth, and post-delivery care plans are welcome to schedule appointments with our gynecology specialists at USC Student Health. For planning a hospital delivery, we can arrange referral care through the Keck Medicine of USC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology or other services through your insurance plan.
Keck Medicine of USC (a Tier 1 provider under SHIP/Aetna) provides maternity care services at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital and USC Arcadia Hospital.
Closer to the the University Park Campus, maternity services are also available at PIH Good Samaritan Hospital (a Tier 1 provider under SHIP/Aetna).
For students with partners who are not on SHIP/Aetna or other insurance plan, prenatal services are also available at St. John’s Community Health, a federally-qualified health center with locations that serve communities throughout South Los Angeles.
Mama’s Neighborhood, a resource program of Los Angeles County, provides connections to health services for a healthy pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, and well-baby pediatric care.
Additional information about university services for students with children are available on the graduate school website.
