February 10 – March 30, 2024
USC Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate Student Government have come together for a major campaign to fund STI testing for USC students who do not have the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). This exciting collaboration means that students with outside insurance do not need to request reimbursement from their plans if they receive an STI test from USC Student Health. This also means that the test will not appear on a student’s outside insurance bill.
TL;DR — Super private that you had a lab test. If you are on your parents’ health insurance, this is the perfect opportunity to get tested with no lab bill notification to the insurance planholder. (No explaining to do.)
Students on SHIP/Aetna — your insurance notifications always go only to you, the planholder.
