If you have experienced sexual assault, a confidential advocate from CARE-SC (formerly known as Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services) is available as a resource to you. Your advocate can immediately arrange transport to a specialized SART center for survivors, will accompany you there, and can walk you through reporting options. All decisions are made by you.
SART centers are specialized in simultaneously providing medical treatment and forensic evidence collection. The Rape Treatment Center at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center is a community partner where services are provide at no cost, no billing to insurance, and evidence is collected and preserved in perpetuity.
Call 213-740-9355 (WELL) to reach a confidential advocate 24/7.
