The Superior Multiprocessor ARchiTectures (SMART) Lab investigates advanced communication architectures for next generation computer systems. Research efforts include the design and evaluation of high-performance interconnection networks, routers, and hardware architectures for improving communication speed, throughput, and energy efficiency in many-core, multiprocessor, and distributed computing systems.
