While outstanding candidates from all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered, candidates with research interests in the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: trust/privacy/security, experimental quantum engineering, circuits and systems for AI at the edge, computing for ML and AI at scale, energy-efficient sensing and computing, bio-sensors and bio-interface circuits and systems, computational imaging systems, foundations of machine intelligence, and human-centered signal processing.
Faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers, and develop a strong funded research program. Interdisciplinary and collaborative research is strongly encouraged. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree, or the equivalent, in electrical and computer engineering or a related field and a strong research and publication record. Applications must include a letter clearly indicating area(s) of specialization, a detailed curriculum vitae, a concise statement of current and future research directions, a teaching statement, and contact information for at least four professional references.
