The Movement Network started as an initiative to provide pro-bono physical therapy services to those fighting against racial injustice and police brutality during the momentous chain of protests that took place across the country this last summer. We know that the past week may have invoked feelings of frustration, outrage, anxiety and/or stress with the shocking events that took place last week in Washington D.C.. But, we hope you join us as an opportunity to learn about how The Movement Network gained momentum during a tumultuous time in our history and is an example of ways we can give back to underserved communities, especially during the pandemic, through our profession as physical therapists. 
Physical therapists, Dr. Kari Ayoob, Dr. Symiah Campbell, and Dr. Ben Yu will be speaking to us about The Movement Network and health disparities in minority communities in LA as well as the effects of COVID on lower income communities.
