The Innovations in Medical Education Stephen Abrahamson Award for Innovation
Sponsored by the Keck School of Medicine of USC, this award honors Dr. Stephen Abrahamson, Ph.D., a pioneer in medical education, for his exemplary lifetime contribution to the medical education community. Awards will be given to investigators with outstanding abstracts that demonstrate ingenuity in their educational innovations and have potential to make significant contribution in the field of their study. There are two categories: Best of Cool Ideas (abstracts without results) and Outstanding Innovations (abstracts with results). Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony at the end of the Conference.
The Innovations in Medical Education Maurice Hitchcock Outstanding Poster Awards
Sponsored by the Keck School of Medicine of USC, this award honors Dr. Maurice Hitchcock, Ed.D., an emeritus professor, for his dedication and contribution to the field of medical education. Awards will be given to authors of outstanding posters that (a) had an excellent abstract and (b) demonstrate excellence in their use of poster medium to optimize the presentation of their curricular intervention or cool idea. Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony at the end of the Conference.
