LJI incorporates the MLA+U program’s time and effort investments in seeking environmental, spatial and climate justice in resource-limited communities or in communities that design does not typically service. It uses equity- and ethics-based frameworks for approaching environmental and urban challenges, recognizing that every public landscape is inherently political.
