Azimuth Corporation in Dayton OH is searching for a research scientist to apply machine learning solutions to problems in quantum information science, specifically
- State control and error correction
- Inverse design of devices
- Waveguide QED
- Metamaterials
- Many body systems
- Material design
Candidates should have a Ph. D. in an appropriate discipline, with experience in numerical methods on high performance computing systems, as well as good communication skills. Postdoctoral experience would be a plus. Familiarity with Python, Julia, Tensor Flow, and/or PyTorch would be valued, as would administrative capabilities for a mid sized Linux cluster with GPU support. We would anticipate the results of the research to be publishable in academic journals and result in conference presentations.
