In preparation for college admission Upward Bound Math Science strives for its students to meet certain goals for each academic year. Through tutoring, personal education plans and frequent evaluations by advisors. We work with students to ensure they are doing well in the following areas.
- Academic Performance: Upward Bound Math Science students earn above a 3.5 GPA each semester. We require that each student maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.
- High school promotion/ Graduation: Each year 100% of Upward Bound Math Science students graduate high school.
- College Enrollment: During senior year students are guided through the entire college application and financial aid process.
- SAT/ACT Test Preparation: Junior year we provide students with SAT/ACT Prep instruction in English and Math, so they are prepared for the college exams.
