About Athletic Medicine
Our objective is to address the health care needs of each individual athlete—their physical and mental health, and their total well-being. We strive to return our athletes to full participation as quickly and safely as possible. Medical and mental health providers are credentialed through Keck Medicine of USC and are clinical faculty of the Keck School of Medicine of USC; our Certified Athletic Trainers are recognized through the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) in practice areas including injury prevention; recognition, evaluation and assessment; immediate care; treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning. Nursing care is part of the award-winning team of nurse professionals of Keck Medicine of USC. Sport psychology is comprised of nationally-recognized leaders in the field who provide expertise on athlete mental health programs for the NCAA.
