Insurance Waiver Process
All USC Students must show proof of health insurance coverage at the beginning of the academic year. Students who are enrolled in a private health insurance plan may waive enrollment in the USC Student Insurance Plan (SHIP/Aetna). A student who does not have health insurance or does not waive out of SHIP/Aetna by the deadline will be automatically enrolled in SHIP.
All student athletes must provide their insurance information to Student Health prior to participation. This process is the responsibility of the student athletes.

Update your local address
If you have a new local address in Los Angeles, make sure you update both OASIS (for your student academic records) and MySHR (for your student health records).
MySHR instructions: On the left hand side navigation, click on “profile.” You will be able to update emergency contact information, your local address, mobile number, and other details.
OASIS instructions: Log in through my.usc.edu portal. Click on the icon for OASIS. Navigate to the “other services” section in the yellow header bar, click on “Change of Address”
