Assistant Athletic Trainer. Sport Responsibilities: Women’s Basketball, Men’s Golf

Erin Tillman, MA, ATC is an athletic trainer for USC women’s basketball and men’s golf. During her time at USC, Tillman has been named the recipient of the California Athletic Trainers’ Association Life Saver Award for 2023 and 2024. She also contributed to the success of USC’s women’s basketball program by helping them reach their first Elite 8 appearance in over a decade and supporting their win in the last PAC 12 Conference Championship in 2024.

Prior to joining the USC Athletic Medicine, Tillman was an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Hawaii, where she provided coverage for the women’s basketball and cheerleading programs. Tillman received her master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Nevada. Tillman also served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the women’s cross country and track and field programs. Tillman received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from California State University, Long Beach.

Tillman is a California native and loves food and finding Speakeasy’s when traveling. Often times she reminds herself and student athletes to, “Be where our feet are.” This reminds us to live in the moment and have the ability to appreciate and acknowledge how far we’ve come and where we want to go.
