The Confidential Advocate team
is here to support and guide you
What is the Confidential Advocates Program?
There are confidential, trained advocates who provide supportive services to USC students who have been impacted by gender- and power-based harm. The confidential advocate is your resource if you are a survivor of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, or other gender-based or relationship harm. They are available to all USC students of all genders, 24/7. For survivors of sexual assault, your confidential advocate can:
- accompany sexual assault survivors to SART centers for rape exams
- arrange transportation to and from SART Centers, and
- arrange for aftercare services on campus, including but not limited to student health care services, counseling, advocacy, Title IX, and academic accommodations.
Here for you as a resource
When you want to talk through something that seems “not right” in an intimate relationship, a confidential advocate can help. This can range from understanding red flags for controlling behaviors, boundaries, respect in partner relationships, digital or in-person stalking, or intimate partner violence or abuse.
No matter what you’re experiencing, you have help and support.
Confidential advocates are available for contact via secure messaging, appointments, or by calling 213-740-9355 (WELL)
