We offer specialized outreach programs to work with specific populations in our student community—Fraternity and Sorority Life, student leaders, and members of the LGBTQ+ student population.

Mental Health and Violence Prevention (MVP) peer education program is an initiative brought to you by Relationship Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP) and Counseling and Mental Health (CMH). The program currently serves femme and nonbinary members of Panhellenic, NPHC, and MGC. MVP is designed to provide comprehensive training that promotes mental health awareness and sexual violence prevention through peer education. MVP creates and uplifts leaders within the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) community that are essential to creating a culture of consent, healthy relationships, and mental health resource utilization. For additional information, contact sconsent@usc.edu.

The Campus Violence Prevention Collective (CVPC) is a program of Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP) that engages student leaders at USC in conversations surrounding gender- and power-based harm, campus-wide awareness initiatives, and prevention efforts. Participants also connect with other campus leaders to network, share their organization’s campus initiatives, and receive outreach support from these leaders and RSVP. Participants also gain skills in becoming up-standers within their USC community and organization. This is also an incredible opportunity to provide feedback and engage in RSVP prevention programming. For additional information, contact sconsent@usc.edu.

Queer2Peer focuses on undergraduate peer-to-peer health education to specifically address the LGBTQ+ student population at USC. Queer2Peer is facilitated by Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP), the LGBTQ+ Student Center (LGBTQ+ SC), and Counseling and Mental Health (CMH) within USC Student Health. The goal of Queer2Peer is to train LGBTQ+ students leaders to educate other students and ally groups in order to promote violence prevention, stronger campus inclusivity, and healthier LGBTQ+ relationships.
