Andrew Guerrero (any / all pronouns) grew up in Whittier, California and attended the University of California, Irvine for his undergrad. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and minored in Chicano / Latino Studies and Criminology, Law, and Society. He then received his Masters of Social Welfare with a concentration in Strengthening Organizations and Communities at the University of California, Berkeley.

Andrew has done prevention education for over 8 years. He previously had a role as a Coordinator for the UCI CARE Office advised peer education program called CHAMPS that focused on men’s role in anti-sexual violence work. He also served as a Prevention Education Specialist at Laura’s House, a domestic violence agency based in Orange County. During his time at UC Berkeley, he was a Graduate Fellow at the Chicanx / Latinx Student Development Office, a Restorative Justice Practitioner at the UC Berkeley Restorative Justice Center and a Prevention Specialist at the UC Berkeley PATH to Care Center.

Andrew has a passion for doing trauma-informed and survivor-centered anti-SVSH work that has an anti-carceral and social justice lens to inspire a community that positively transforms our climate and culture.
