Sarah Randazzo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Studies and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Throughout her career, she has obtained extensive experience in working with underserved and under-represented trauma survivors of all ages experiencing a multitude of mental health struggles, including posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, grief and loss, relational difficulties, low self-esteem, sexuality and intimacy struggles, school and life stressors, and adjustment issues. In addition, she has experience working with children and families who have experienced grief and loss as well as with Community Outreach and Advocacy amongst trauma survivors in the Los Angeles County.
Her passion is assisting and empowering survivors of sexual trauma with their healing journeys and to instill hope in the future. Sarah has specialized training and experience with various evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Narrative Exposure, and Dialectical and Behavioral Informed Therapy. She approaches her clinical work in a trauma-informed, culturally inclusive, and empathic way to empower her clients to explore their current and past difficulties and to gain insight into how to achieve their personal aspirations.
