Therapy Trainee

Tatyana Aposhian, PsyD earned her degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and her master’s in marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at USC Counseling and Mental Health Services. She is part of the CARE-SC clinical team and specializes in working with survivors of gender and power-based harm.

 

Her clinical interests include trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, suicide prevention and crisis intervention, relationship issues, multicultural and identity related issues and development, and any concerns related to adjustment, life transitions, and family.  Dr. Aposhian is integrative in her approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and attachment theory.
