Our paper “The EpiBench Platform to Propel AI/ML-based Epidemic Forecasting: A Prototype Demonstration Reaching Human Expert-level Performance” has been accepted at the 5th International Workshop on Health Intelligence in conjunction with the Thirty-Fifth AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI ’21), 2021. This paper proposes EpiBench a platform consisting of community-driven benchmarks for AI/ML applied to epidemic forecasting to standardize the challenge with a uniform evaluation protocol.
