Join us for a lecture with Monique Kornell, an art historian specializing in the history of anatomical book illustration and the study of anatomy by artists. She has published articles on anatomical drawings and prints, and has a general interest in the bibliography of the history of medicine. Her talk will revisit the 2022 exhibition at the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, and themes of the representation of the body over the course of five hundred years, from the rise of new visual maps of the human form in the Renaissance to the present day.
