The Consent and Healthy Relationships (modules are a series of three 120-minute learning opportunities that engage the learner with skills on affirmative consent, building healthy relationships, and bystander intervention.
The Consent and Healthy Relationship (CHR) modules are:
- For any undergraduate student in their first/second semester at USC: CHR Pt. 1: Trojans Respect Consent
- For any undergraduate student in their third/fourth semester at USC: CHR: Pt. 2: Healthy Relationships
- For any undergraduate student in their fifth/sixth semester at USC: CHR Pt. 3: Trojans Act Now

- Gender Socialization
- Impact of Power Imbalances
- Definition of Sexual Assault
- Centering Consent
- Assertive Communication
- Bystander Intervention
- Survivor Support
- Community Development
- USC’s Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation
If you are a survivor with experiences that would be the basis to qualify for an exemption, and alternative option for completing this requirement, please complete Exemption Request Form . Note for first year undergraduates—if already applied for and were granted an exemption from SAPu, you will be automatically also be exempted from CHR1 Trojans Respect Consent.
For all other SAP and CHR modules, you must complete Exemption Request Form for each PEM that you would like to request an exemption for.
