Marcella Vargas
About me:
My name is Marcella Vargas and I am a 3rd year PharmD student. I am a first-generation undergraduate and graduate student with a Hispanic background. Growing up in Los Angeles, I have been able to experience first hand the hardships people of different backgrounds face and now through my professional efforts, I am hoping to be able to make a difference in bridging the gap between healthcare for everyone in need and allowing my colleagues to recognize that too. I currently hold positions in ASCP, SAM, and SC-DEI through the School of Pharmacy. When I am not studying or working at the hospital or CVS, you can find me on a flight to a different city/country, hiking and trying new restaurants with friends, or spending time with family. I am looking forward to my role in SC-DEI and am here to be of service in any way possible!
