USC’s Culture Team’s “Culture In Action” Event Series (10/18 – 10/21)

This October, USC’s Culture Team is curating a multi-day Culture In Action series focused on empowering our Trojan community to live out our Unifying Values as individuals and as an institution. A series of virtual panel discussions will focus on stories of empowerment, identify systematic or behavioral roadblocks, and demystify USC resources. Come hear from our USC leaders, deans, students, and alumni on practical ways to live out the values every day. We encourage everyone to attend and share this information within your network:

Event Overviews:

1. Culture Conversations: Alumni Panel on When to Lead, and When to Follow
Throughout this engaging conversation, learn about practical ways we can overcome challenges in different roles, responsibilities, and power dynamics to empower us to live out our Unifying Values. Panelists include:

    • Patrick Auerbach – Associate Senior VP for Alumni Relations
    • Karen Carr-Crawford (MPA ’83) – Start-up Specialist and Growth Strategist
    • Robert Suzuki (’07) – Chief People Officer at Eureka! Restaurant Group

2. Culture in Action: Community Panel on Addressing Concerns
Come and experience an interactive conversation that demystifies the reporting process, explores concerns around retaliation, and discusses different resources and practices for addressing problems before they become a more serious issue. Panelists include:
