Therapy Trainee

Shaina Hall-Jones, MA is pursuing her doctorate degree in counseling psychology and received her master’s in counseling psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently a therapy trainee at USC Counseling and Mental Health Services.  

Her clinical interests include identity development, multicultural issues, stress and coping, life transitions, mindfulness meditation, and suicide prevention and crisis intervention. Shaina is integrative in her approach to therapy, drawing from multicultural theory, person centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
