Therapy+

A suite of mental health services accessible right from your phone


Therapy Plus is a collection of mental health products and services selected by Counseling and Mental Health Services. These extension services provide telehealth therapy, chat-based conversations with a trained responder, and asynchronous learning tools to help students learn skills, regulate emotional responses, and recognize critical stress and get help when intervention is needed.

UWILL

UWILL is a telehealth service that USC students can sign up for, arranging therapy visits on a regular basis (via telehealth) with a regular provider. Eligibility criteria applies for service under the Student Health Fee.

Oasis Chat

Oasis Chat is an app you can download to your phone, and use 24/7 to have a texting conversation with a trained responder. Available to all USC students. Download and create your log-in today!

Referral appointment

Most insurance plans require a referral for mental health care, your student health fee includes appointments for obtaining this referral.

Behavioral Health Services

Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Services (PBHS, 5th floor) Practice

This clinical practice is staffed by culturally informed and diverse faculty, and offers greater access to intermediate and long-term, solution-focused, evidence-based care for more complex conditions.

USC students are recommended to first meet with Counseling and Mental Health Services in USC Student Health to discuss their personalized treatment plan prior to making appointments with PBHS.

PBHS is located on the 5th floor of the Engemann Student Health Center Building

Web-based Counseling with Behavioral Health Services

Array Behavioral Health is a web-based individual counseling service and is available as a long-term counseling option for students on SHIP/Aetna. Inpathy is available to residents of the following states: CA, CO, DE, PA, NJ, NY, VA, MO.

Note:

Due to state licensing requirements, access to clinical care (medical, individual counseling or formal group therapy) at CMH is limited to patients currently in California. “Let’s Talk” and Workshops are open to all USC students regardless of their current location.
