Therapy Trainee
Bowen Agatep Shaner earned his master’s degree in both marriage and family therapy and clinical psychology. He has clinical experience providing therapy to college students and is currently in the final year of a doctoral program in clinical psychology.
Bowen’s professional focus is on supporting students on a journey of identity development while helping to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
He believes in finding balance and fostering growth in life, and he brings that philosophy into his therapeutic approach. He strives to create a safe and collaborative space where he and his clients observe thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment, together uncovering and utilizing personal strengths to support development.
Outside of his work, Bowen enjoys spending time with his cats, playing video games, watching TV shows and movies, and going to concerts.
