Abbie Wolfson-Sanger, PhD received her doctorate from Boston University. She is the embedded counselor for the School of Architecture. Her professional interests include: psychotherapy integration in individual, couple and group psychotherapy, attachment, and all types of relationships (parent/ child, partners, friends, therapist/client, professor/student), how larger systems influence the experience of the individual, crisis intervention, increasing flexibility in coping style, mature students, and student veterans. She would tell her college self: “First, very little about you is fixed in stone. If you want to make a change academically, emotionally, or in any area of your life, consult with others, come up with a plan, and get started. Second, and more importantly, when you are struggling, ask for help”.
