Dr. Dakari Quimby received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012 and his PhD in clinical psychology at Loyola University Chicago in 2018. Most recently, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. A licensed psychologist, Dr. Dakari’s work has focused on providing empowering treatment to individuals from marginalized communities that capitalize on strengths within their communities. Dr. Dakari has led a variety of research projects and published multiple manuscripts examining trauma, social equity, and strategies to promote resilience amidst communities of color.
