Psychiatrist and Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Keck School of Medicine of USC

Dr. Dustin Nowaskie is a queer, nonbinary adult psychiatrist who completed their psychiatry residency and medical education at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Prior to IU, they attended USC for their undergraduate studies, majoring in neuroscience, psychology, and biology. They joined the USC CMH team in Summer 2022.

Dr. Nowaskie’s personal identification and civic commitment have cultivated into a passion to help LGBTQ+ communities. Through their nonprofit organization OutCare Health, they provide information, resources, programming, mentorship, education, training, research, and much more for LGBTQ+ people across the country. Their ultimate goal is to transform their might into a powerful unicorn of social and public health change for LGBTQ+ people.

In their free time, they enjoy collecting mid-century pieces and traveling to national parks with their two partners and two Siberian Huskies.
