Megan Layton Martinez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She was born and raised in Southern California. She completed her undergraduate training in psychology at UCLA and received her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from USC. During her graduate years at USC she also enjoyed working as a Residence Coordinator in the Residential Education Department. Megan pursued further graduate training in the area of spiritual psychology at the University of Santa Monica.

Megan has extensive experience in treating multiple mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, phobias, relationship disturbances, autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders, gender and sexuality identity and exploration topics, grief/bereavement, school-related challenges, and adjustment issues. Megan’s specialized training and experience, as well as her passion for therapeutic work and advocacy, enable her to work effectively with her clients. Megan takes a supportive and empathic approach to assisting her clients in courageously examining their life and relationships, and improving their understanding of their thoughts and feelings. She approaches her clinical work with a holistic perspective, incorporating treatment of mind, body, and soul. Through this process she strives to assist her clients in attaining hope and healing.
