Sara Espinosa, LMFT received her master’s degree from Alliant University and is currently pursuing her PsyD at The Reiss-Davis Graduate School.
Sara is a case manager working as part of the Counseling and Mental Health crisis team.
Sara’s professional interests include intergenerational trauma, family therapy, normalization of healthy ambivalence in Latino mothers, and self-inflecting behaviors. Sara emphasizes that with therapy, “there is value in being seen and heard by another caring human being, and it is also a gift to bear witness to the growth that takes place when a safe and containing space is provided.”
