Sunayana Kaviya, LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at USC’s Counseling and Mental Health (CMH) where she provides therapy services to USC students. Her professional interests include identity development, adjustment problems, trauma-informed care, diversity, and cross-cultural issues, life-transition issues, relationship difficulties, and family systems issues. She is passionate about working with the international student population, the LGBTQ+ community, and clients of color. Sunayana has worked in community mental health, and she is passionate about providing an affirming therapeutic space in her therapeutic work. She incorporates multicultural and systems approaches in her work to provide individualized care to her client.
