Solution Sessions

single, 50-minute session with a therapist gives you an opportunity to work through a reaction, a situation, or something else unexpected in your life. This may be the right fit for getting your perspective or balance back when something throws you a curve ball.

Let’s Talk

Let’s talk is a 30 minute, one-on-one conversation with a clinician from Counseling and Mental Health.

  • The sessions focus on skill-building, resiliency skills, and problem solving.
  • This is a good way to explore what talk therapy might be like.
  • Let’s Talk sessions are for individual conversations, but not psychotherapy treatment.

Let’s Talk: Community Specific

We also offer specific Let’s Talk spaces for our Black students, Latinx students, LGBTQ+ students, Asian Pacific American students, and international students.

  • Black Students – Open to all students who identify as Black. All members of the Black diaspora are welcome.
  • Latinx Students
  • MENA– Middle East & North Africa
  • LGBTQIA+ Students
  • APIDA – Open to Asian Pacific Islander Desi American students.
  • International Students – These particular sessions are open to international students who may be experiencing upheavals related to being far from home or far from campus in these unexpected times.
